Today due to advanced technology and medicine had developed and put into production a huge set of baby bottles. They differ each other from their materials, shape and volume. Personally, I was initially very difficult to make sense of this variety. I studied the Internet all day long. The result was finally able to identify the main types of bottles for babies and I wrote this baby bottles review.
So, based on the material used in its manufacturing, bottles are made of glass, plastic and silicone:
Glass baby bottles are made from a material that is one of the most environmentally friendly and of course BPA free material. Since it used flame retardant glass, a bottle will not crack when you pour hot water in it. These bottles are very hygienic (not darken even by tea) and extremely reliable to use, as long preserves the grading volume scale. The only drawback of these bottles – they heated longer and can be broken accidentally.
Plastic baby bottles are made of plastic, which is safe and BPA free heat-resistant material. The values of these bottles are a lightweight and reliable to use. You can freely pour boiling water in the bottle, they do not crack. But, in contrast to the glass bottles, the plastic bottles can be painted on the nutritional components. They are very comfortable to ride and to walk.
Silicone bottles are made of high-tech BPA free silicone. Like plastic bottles they are lightweight and usable and are also prone to coloring. But at the same time they have a huge advantage – they are very convenient not only for drinking but also for feeding dense food (mashed potatoes, cereals).
By forms baby bottles are standard, with a wide neck, figured and anti-colic:
- The standard baby bottle may be narrow and elongated, as a result it is not very stable, and when pouring liquids or food exposed rollover;
- The bottle with a wide neck is very convenient to fill with food and easy to clean. They are more stable than the classical bottle.
- Shaped bottles are manufactured from high quality plastic and are very diverse in form. These bottles fit to show a baby its first self – they are very comfortable to hold.
